The Foundation, established in 1998, is a non-profit, tax exempt organization which administers funds established by individuals, corporations, private foundations and non-profit organizations. The funds support the capital improvement needs of Alliance area non-profit charitable organizations.
The Foundation protects and manages donated assets under the direction of a volunteer board of trustees composed of community leaders. We offer annuities and charitable trusts.
Our mission is to strengthen our community by serving and connecting people, resources, and needs through philanthropic giving.
Our goal is to match charitable intentions with specific needs through a carefully managed program that will attract endowment resources and provide donors, recipients, and the community efficiency and accountability in stewardship of funds made available for the betterment of Greater Alliance.
Community Foundations, like the Greater Alliance Foundation, are public foundations. We make grants to improve the quality of life for people in the Alliance area. Our Foundation consists of separate grant-making funds, each established by one or more individuals or organizations.
