What the Foundation Offers Donors
In addition to offering you the maximum charitable deduction allowable, your Foundation offers donors:
- Professional investment management of the charitable funds
- Advice and counsel in conjunction with your personal attorney, CPA, bank trust officer, and financial planner.
- Assistance in identifying and evaluating giving opportunities
- Quick response to grant recommendations
- Opportunities to learn about community needs and to partner with other donors in meeting the needs
All paperwork, processing, and monitoring of grants is handled for you.

Types of Gifts for Establishing a Fund
Some donors may wish to establish a fund and make an immediate gift by transferring assets to the Greater Alliance Foundation. Others may decide to make a planned (or deferred) gift that will come to the Foundation in the future. And, some donors combine both immediate and deferred gifts.

- Stock, including closely-held stock
- Real estate
- IRA, 401(k), profit sharing or pension benefits
- Insurance policies
Your Privacy Is Our Top Priority
The Greater Alliance Foundation collects personal information from donors and prospective donors to facilitate their charitable gifts and to maintain correct contact information, like the donors name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. The information you provide the Foundation is not shared with anyone outside the Foundation. This confidential information is not accessible to anyone but Foundation staff through the Foundation computers and in paper files within our business offices.
